National Payroll Week

Each year payroll professionals are acknowledged and celebrated by the American Payroll Association for their hard work by designating the week in which Labor Day falls as National Payroll Week.

This year National Payroll Week occurs September 6^th - 10^th. National Payroll Week celebrates the hard work by America's millions of wage earners and the payroll professionals who pay them. It is also an educational campaign designed to help American workers learn more about their paychecks, payroll withholding routines, and payroll related benefits through programs such as "Money Matters". 

This photograph was taken during the August, 17th Sachse City Council Meeting when Mayor Felix presented a citywide proclamation recognizing NPW. Along with Mayor Mike Felix are Michelle Reyna from the city's payroll department and Steve Smith representing the Dallas APA Chapter.

We have collected 14 proclamations including one from Governor Rick Perry.

Speaker:  Chris Rudicile, PHR Topic: HR/PR Employee Self Service About the Speaker: Chris Rudicile, PHR is a Sr. Solutions Consultant at ADP.  Chris began her career in Human Resources and Payroll at a 500 employee privately held organization in Fort Worth, Texas.  She has experience with OFCCP and DOL audits, EEOC and  OSHA investigations, Union campaigns and contract negotiations.  Additionally, her love of technology prompted her to join ADP where she has spent the last 15 years benchmarking and recommending improvements in workforce management processes to thousands of mid-sized companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.  Chris holds her Bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University and has held her PHR since 1996.     **All registrations will be billed unless cancellation is confirmed 72 hours prior to the meeting.**
